"Red," is our up and coming royally bred junior sire. He is out of our own daughter of Mr. Gunsmoke and by Just Plain Colonel. Just Plain Colonel stood at the Ward Ranch in California and his get have earned over a 1.5 million dollars in reined cowhorse, reining and cutting events. We have test bred him to a few mares and are very pleased by the results. His full brother Just Plain Smokin has been competing successfully at reining, working cowhorse and ranch horse classes. We have made the difficult decision that due to the number of mares we have had to sell that we will be offering "Red" for sale. He is simply too good of a horse to stand around here and only breed a couple of mares. He was started as a 2 and 3 year old but has not been ridden since. If you are looking for disposition along with ability take a good look here. With the passing of Just Plain Colonel you are not going to get any closer to his genetics than "Red."

Red's full brother, Just Plain Smoken just competed and placed at the 2008 Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo in 3 events: 4th place in the NRHA Reining, 4th place in the AQHA Working Cowhorse, 7th place in the Ranch Horse Competition. Great job showing and training for rider/owner Tom Coolihan.
